About Dr. Larsen

Stephen Larsen, MD, is a highly skilled urologist and accomplished physician. He currently serves the community of the Valley at Arizona Urology, which has three clinics conveniently located in Goodyear, Glendale, and Gilbert, Arizona. 

Dr. Larsen graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. He earned his medical degree and completed his surgical training at Rush Medical College in Near West Side, Chicago, where he was named Intern of the Year. He then went on to complete a residency in urology before taking up an andrology (male infertility) fellowship at University College London Hospital. 

At Arizona Urology, Dr. Larsen specializes in infertility and surgical procedures, including such niche treatments as vasectomy reversals and vasoepididymostomies. He’s also highly skilled in post-surgical and corrective surgery, such as prosthetics and artificial sphincters. He also has a keen interest in treating Peyronie’s Disease.  Dr. Larsen is currently a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, the Sexual Medicine Society, and the Chicago Urological Society. 

In addition to his patient care, Dr. Larsen is an active author in his field, authoring and co-authoring articles and research in the Journal of Urology, the Journal of Sexual Medicine, and the International Journal of Impotence Research. He’s also highly regarded for the research he’s presented at various national and international meetings.

When he isn’t working with patients, Dr. Larsen likes to golf, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with his wife, family, and friends.
