Kashif Alvi, M.D.Dr. Alvi received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan. He completed two years post-doctorate training as a research associate at Yale University after medical school. His internship and residency training were at Harvard. He spent two years in general surgery training at the Brigham and Women's hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children's hospital, and West Roxbury V.A. hospital. He then completed residency in Urology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School, Boston. He served as faculty in Urology Department at MGH for 6 months after finishing residency Dr Alvi has extensive training in laparoscopy and robotic surgery. His interests includes minimally invasive surgery including Robotic assisted radical prostatectomy and cystectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, laparoscopic radical and partial nephrectomy, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction and urologic reconstructive surgery. Dr Alvi’s hobbies include traveling, sports including baseball, cricket, and soccer. He also enjoys classic and modern day movies and music.
