Harinath V. Kumar, MD

Dr. Kumar completed his medical studies at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He then started his post graduate training by completing a surgical internship at Lawrence and Memorial Hospitals, New London, Connecticut. His urology residency training began soon after that at New York University and then he finished his training at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Following his residency, Dr. Kumar spent an additional two years in fellowship training at Montefiore Hospital. He then served as Chief of Urology at Morrisania City Hospital, Bronx, NY. Dr. Kumar is certified by the American Board of Urology since 1975. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Kumar held a solo private practice in western Pennsylvania for 35 years prior to joining IMS. He served as Chief of Surgery at Titusville Area Hospital. Dr. Kumar lives with his wife and has three children and three grandchildren.
